Booking Engine

The channel you don’t pay for.

Your own booking engine on your own website, selling the same live inventory as the OTAs — send the link from the desk, take the deposit by pay-by-link, and the stay lands on your grid with nothing taken off the top.

What you get

The same room, cheaper direct.

Guests price-check before they book. When your own page is the lowest one on the list, the booking lands with you — the guest pays less, and you still keep more than the channel would have left you.

Extras

The stay is booked. The selling is not over.

Extras are offered on the confirmation page and again before arrival — chosen by the guest, at the price you set. Nothing to ask for at the desk, and no channel takes a share of any of it.

  • Offered at booking and again before arrival
  • Your prices, your terms, your photographs
  • Added straight to the folio
  • Switch one off and it goes everywhere at once

Going live

It goes on the site you already have.

Or on the one you don’t. However the hotel is on the internet today, the booking page can be live this week — and the setting up is ours to do, not yours.

  1. 1

    You have a website

WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or a page a friend built years ago. One snippet, pasted once, and the booking page is part of your site.

    <script src="foyer.link/embed.js">
  2. 2

    You only have Instagram

Plenty of hotels here do. One link in the bio opens the booking page under your own name — no website needed at all.

    hotelreverie.foyer.link
  3. 3

    You want a proper page

We build it with your rooms, your photographs and your rates, and hand you the keys. The engine is already inside it.

    Rooms · Photos · Rates · Live
A guest opening the curtains onto the sea on the morning of their stay.

The booking is yours. So is the guest.

Their name, their email, their phone — straight to you, not held behind a channel. The stay starts on your page and ends at your desk.

  • No commission, on anything
  • The guest’s real contact details
  • Extras sold at your own price
The flow, hour by hour

One enquiry, from the DM to the folio.

A message at 20:14 — the kind that never touches a channel at all. This is where it goes when the link belongs to you.

  1. 20:14
    The message comes in

“Do you have a Double free 14–16 August?” — Instagram, like most evenings.

  2. 20:15
    Reception sends the link

Your own booking page, the same rate the channels show. No photo of a calendar, no back and forth.

  3. 20:19
    The guest picks the room

Live availability, your photos, your price — a Double for two nights, breakfast included.

  4. 20:21
    Spa and dinner go in

Extras offered on the way to payment, at the price you set. Revenue a channel never sells at all.

  5. 20:22
    Deposit paid by link

Card entered on the page, deposit taken, confirmation email out in the guest’s language.

  6. 20:22:05
    Already on the grid

Room blocked, folio open with the deposit posted, availability closed on every channel. Commission on this booking: €0.00.

Questions

What the desk asks before it switches.

Does it work with the website I already have?

Yes. One snippet on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or a hand-built page, and the booking page is part of your site. If there is no site at all, the page is hosted under your own name and a link in the Instagram bio is enough to sell from.

What does a direct booking cost me?

Nothing per booking. The engine is part of FOYER, so there is no commission on the room and none on anything sold beside it — the spa, the dinner, the late checkout.

Can I price cheaper on my own page than on the OTAs?

Your rates are yours to set. Read your channel contracts first, though — some carry parity clauses. Many hotels keep the public rate the same everywhere and give the direct guest something a channel cannot: breakfast, a late checkout, the spa.

When does the money arrive?

Your choice, per rate: a deposit at booking or the whole stay up front, with the balance settled at the hotel. Whatever is taken online lands on the folio, so the desk sees what is already paid.

Who gets the guest’s details?

You do. The name, email and phone are entered on your page and land in your system — not behind a channel’s relay address.

What if the last room sells on a channel first?

It cannot be sold twice. The engine reads the same live inventory as your channels, so whichever sells the last room closes it everywhere else.
