The things hoteliers ask us first.
We still run on paper and Excel. Is this too big a jump?
It is the jump we handle most. Moving off a spreadsheet, a paper diary or another PMS is our job, not yours — rooms, rates and forward bookings come across, and we set the system up with you rather than sending you a PDF and wishing you luck.
Do we have to switch everything on at once?
No. Most houses start at the front desk and add the channel manager, the booking engine or the POS once the desk is comfortable. Every module reads the same data, so switching one on later changes nothing you have already set up.
What happens to the bookings we already have?
They come with you. Forward bookings, guest details and rates are imported before you go live, so the first morning on FOYER opens with the same arrivals you were expecting.
Which channels do you connect to?
The ones your rooms actually sell on — Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb and the rest through the channel manager. One calendar, one set of rates, pushed out rather than typed into three extranets.
Our internet is not always reliable. Does that matter?
Yes, and it is worth saying plainly: FOYER runs in the browser, so the desk needs a connection. Tell us during setup if yours drops — it changes what we recommend for the restaurant till and the housekeeping phones.
Is the data ours?
It is yours. Guests, bookings, invoices and reports can be exported whenever you want, in formats you can open elsewhere. There is no version of this where leaving means losing your history.
Do you speak Albanian?
The whole system does, and so do we. Setup, training and support all happen in Albanian or English, from people in your timezone rather than a queue in another country.
What does it cost?
It is quoted for your house, from one of three plans on the pricing page — from the desk alone to the whole house. Ask for a quote and the number comes back in writing the same day. The first month is free.
